href=\"https:\/\/news.gov.bc.ca\/releases\/2021PSSG0029-000758\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" lang=\"en\" href=\"https:\/\/bc.ctvnews.ca\/b-c-imposes-new-gathering-limits-restaurant-rules-vaccine-requirements-as-covid-19-cases-surge-1.5711528\" rel=\"noopener\">gathering restrictions<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" lang=\"en\" href=\"https:\/\/free.bcpublications.ca\/civix\/document\/id\/crbc\/crbc\/284_2021_pit_2021_11_19\" rel=\"noopener\">vaccination requirements<\/a> for health-care workers to curb the spread of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>While experts The Tyee spoke with agree the public health emergency may no longer be needed, they stressed that COVID-19 still poses a serious and potentially
