The province has reached 30 cases, according to the most recent figures from Public Health.<\/p>\n<p>The Laurentides region remains the most affected with 27 cases of measles, the others being in the territories of Montreal, Laval and Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie.<\/p>\n<p>Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself against this extremely contagious disease. Quebec\u2019s vaccination schedule provides for children to receive the vaccine at 12 and 18 months, but it can be administered free of charge at any age.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Health announced last week that vaccination coverage for elementary and secondary students for the current school year (2024-2025) is around 90%.
