July 10, 2023

Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis have created a real-time monitor that can detect SARS-CoV-2 virus particles in a room in about five minutes. In the future, monitors based on this proof-of-concept device could be used in hospitals, schools and public spaces to warn occupants about the presence of SARS-CoV-2 and other viruses.
