International Long COVID Awareness Day – COVID-cautious walk

Where: Ottawa City Hall (meet at the entrance, Laurier Avenue side)
Join us for a walk on International Long COVID Awareness Day, Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 7 pm. The route is wheelchair-accessible. Please RSVP on Meetup.
We’ll walk to Parliament Hill and the ByWard Market. The Ottawa sign will be illuminated with a teal colour during International Long COVID Awareness Day. We’ll have some posters, and you can post photos taken at the sign — use the hashtags: #ILCAD2026, #LongCovidAwarenessDay, #LongCovidAwarenessDay2026.
😷 Health precautions:
- Please wear a respirator during the walk (e.g.: N95, FFP3, CAN99, elastomeric or equivalent).
- You must be fully vaccinated to attend the event.
- Please stay home if you’ve been sick during the past two weeks.
♿️ Accessibility: Jack Purcell Community Centre has wheelchair-accessible washrooms.
🐕 No pets: Because some participants have allergies, we have a no-pets rule. Exceptions: animals used for people with visual impairments, or personal support animals.
