In 2026-2027, three COVID-19 vaccines will be available in Canada: the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty, Moderna Spikevax, and Sanofi Nuvaxovid vaccines. Only vaccines that Health Canada has approved for use will be administered.
The Nuvaxovid (formerly Novavax) COVID-19 vaccine is expected to be available in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and New Brunswick. Other provinces and territories are looking into purchasing vaccine doses, including: Yukon and Prince Edward Island.
